About Martin & Parker
For people with a discerning taste in soft furnishings and sofas, 1980 was a good year. It was the year that we at Martin & Parker opened our first sofa factory! Our aim was to produce quality, handcrafted soft furnishings and sofas, and we soon built a reputation for the quality of our excellent products. We are very proud of our skilled craftspeople, and our numerous happy clients have provided us with testimonials to say they too are very pleased with our work.
Martin & Parker rapidly grew and went from strength to strength. Within 3-years, we had outgrown our original premises, so we moved to the Ascot Drive showroom in Derby, which is where we remain to this day. We have a large on-site workshop, employing many local people, and a modern showroom to display our prestigious merchandise. From these purpose-built premises, Martin & Parker continues to produce and display a wide range of finely handcrafted chairs, sofas, and furniture in a variety of styles and using quality materials.
As our reputation has grown over the years, we have had the honour of being involved in some brilliant projects, including 60-Minute Makeover for ITV and more recently DIY SOS for the BBC, where we supplied a sofa and armchair to the family that will be featured in the DIY SOS: The Big Build series. It was used as part of a life-changing transformation to the home of a family in Derby.
In time honoured tradition, Martin & Parker remains a company small enough to care and large enough to cope.
